I used this remote for the first time last week on my Canon 7D while on vacation at Glacier Natl Park. It was very inexpensive to purchase so I won’t be too critical. It fell out of the camera jack once but that’s probably because I didn’t push it in hard enough. It does feel pretty cheap and plasticky, so be forewarned. If I was to do it over again, I’d buy the Canon brand and be done with it. You don’t want camera accessories failing on you when you are taking photos of places you only visit once or twice in a lifetime.
